At Zuply, sustainability starts at the drawing board. Our "Design for Recyclability" concept focuses on reducing waste and maximizing reuse. We achieve this through conscious material choices and a sleek design.
A key element is the use of 100% recyclable XPS from Jackon for the insulation of our refrigerated machines. This mono-material significantly enhances the recycling process at the end of its life. Furthermore, all sensitive components—including the electronics—are modular and housed in easily interchangeable boxes. This allows us to quickly inspect and repair components, rather than replacing them immediately, which extends the life of our machines and significantly reduces e-waste.

From cradle to grave
When a Zuply vending machine reaches the end of its life cycle, we ensure it is recycled in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner. Zuply is affiliated with Wecycle, a non-profit foundation committed to the return and high-quality recycling of discarded electronic equipment.
We return our vending machines to Wecycle's dedicated recycling stations, where collected devices are recycled at a rate of to 90%. This means that the valuable components of our vending machines don't end up in landfills. On the contrary: Harmful substances such as lamps, batteries, and other potentially toxic components are processed safely and environmentally friendly.
Base metals like steel and copper are carefully recovered from wiring and heat sinks.
Even valuable materials like platinum and other precious metals are efficiently recovered from printed circuit boards.
This process preserves essential raw materials and prevents harmful substances from escaping into the environment. This way we close the circle and contribute to a more sustainable future, even after using a Zuply vending machine.
