Netrocks and Zuply integrate POS and coffee systems for unmanned automated sales processes

Osnabrück / Oud Gastel – Netrocks GmbH and Zuply (Innovenda BV) announce their partnership. Together, the partners have developed an interface between Netrocks’ digital coffee solutions and zuply’s POS system. The integration enables a fully automated, digital sales process for coffee across different business environments: from unmanned stores in hotels to office and catering concepts.
The focus is on a seamless ordering and dispensing process: customers select their coffee, in combination with food and snacks at the self-order terminal (SOT) and only pay one time directly on site. They then receive a QR code receipt, which they can use at any time by scanning it at the coffee machine. Once validated, dispensing the selected coffee starts automatically as soon as a cup is placed under the spout.
Efficient, secure and scalable
The solution ensures a high level of process reliability, as only paid products are dispensed. At the same time, it reduces operational overheads, as no staff are required to serve coffee. It is also highly convenient for customers, who can purchase coffee at the same time together with food, snacks and other drinks in one transaction. This makes the system particularly suitable for environments with high volumes of guests, such as hotels, office premises, clinics, care homes or retail spaces.
An additional advantage: the integrated coffee machines communicate proactively when human assistance is required. Operators or service staff receive specific notifications such as ‘Please refill milk’ or ‘Please empty the grounds container’. This allows service processes to be managed efficiently and downtime to be minimised.
The joint solution was recently unveiled at the ICT & Zorg trade fair in Utrecht and presented to an international specialist audience.
